Who we are
J&M Trailer ("we," "us," or "our") operates this website at jandmtrailers.com. We are a family-owned trailer sales, rental, and service business located at 11 4th Ave, Laurel, MT 59044. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website, how we use it, and the choices you have.
This policy applies to our website only. It does not cover other websites we link to, which have their own privacy practices.
Information we collect
We aim to collect as little information as possible. What we may have falls into three groups:
- Information you choose to give us. Our website has no contact or lead-capture forms. When you call or email us using the phone number or email address shown on the site, we receive whatever you choose to share — typically your name, contact details, and the details of your inquiry.
- Information collected automatically. Like most websites, our hosting and security providers automatically log basic technical details each time a page loads — such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view, and the date and time. This helps us run the site and keep it secure.
- Preferences saved on your device. We save your inventory view preference (grid or list) in your browser's local storage so the site remembers it next time. This stays on your device, is not sent to us, and you can clear it anytime in your browser settings.
How we use information
We use the information above to:
- operate, maintain, and improve our website;
- respond to questions and requests you send us;
- show our inventory, locations, and hours;
- keep the site secure and prevent fraud and abuse; and
- meet our legal obligations.
We do not use your information for automated profiling or targeted advertising.
Cookies and device storage
We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies on our public website, and you do not need to accept any cookies to browse it. The only browser storage we use for visitors is the view preference described above. A secure session cookie is used only in our private staff area, which is not available to the public.
Website analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how our site is used — for example, which pages are popular and how many people visit. It is privacy-focused: it does not use cookies, and it does not fingerprint you or track you across other websites. The data is aggregated and is not used to personally identify you. Cloudflare Turnstile
To protect secure areas of our site, such as staff login, from spam and automated abuse, we use Cloudflare Turnstile. Turnstile runs invisibly in the background to tell real visitors apart from automated bots. To do this, Cloudflare may collect information about your device and connection and may set or read a cookie as part of the check.
Your use of Cloudflare Turnstile is subject to Cloudflare's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Location maps
Our contact page shows a static map image of our location provided by Google Maps. Because it is a static image, Google does not run interactive scripts or set cookies in your browser when you view it. If you click a map or a directions link, you will be taken to Google Maps, where Google's Privacy Policy applies.
Financing applications
Our Financing page includes an application tool provided by our third-party financing partner, C3. If you choose to apply, the information you enter — including any details used for a soft credit check — is submitted to and handled by C3 under C3's own privacy policy and terms, not by us. We receive only the information we need to complete your trailer purchase.
How we share information
We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share information only with the providers that help us run our website and business, and only as needed for them to do their job. These include:
- Deno Deploy — website hosting;
- Cloudflare — content delivery, security, bot protection, image storage, and privacy-focused analytics;
- Google Maps — static location maps;
- C3 — financing applications you choose to submit.
We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights, safety, or property.
Data retention and security
We keep information only as long as we need it for the purposes described in this policy or as required by law, and we use reasonable safeguards to protect it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You can browse our website without giving us any personal information. You can also:
- clear your saved preferences and block or delete cookies through your browser settings;
